28 and 29 December 2007 - Washington D.C.

We squeezed as much East Coast fun as possible before our turn to L.A. First it was straight to the Washington zoo.




Then off to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History to discover the fun of science!








Which Zoë found endlessly fascinating. (Me, not so much, but you make these sacrificing as a parent.)


Especially when the alternative is Zoë's perennial obsession, boys. She followed this kid all over the place trying to get him to read with her.

That even we ate with fellow Gettysburgan Brigid at one of ther favorite restaurants.




Zoë especially loved the lighting.


And the moring before we left, we managed to have brunch with Yasmin, a friend of mine from Writers' Camp, now an actress and Yoga instructor.
